No more cold, doubley.

Dress: Forever 21, Jacket: Torrid, Head Scarf: American Apparel, Belt/Necklace: Thrifted.
I have returned to the world of the living, and it's a great time to be back. We've been having some really awesome weather here in San Francisco (70!) which means I can still be lazy with my outfit choices while looking like I'm trying. Wore this outfit to Ikea, SO EXITING I KNOW.
But what really is exciting is the beautiful sunset I happened to catch the other night. My bf lives right across from the beach, so after a lazy day of playing Sims and cooking, we were shocked to step outside into a foggy paradise.

I didn't get a very good picture of my outfit at the beach, so of course I just wore it the next day and took some better pictures. I'm planning a sunset picnic near here (to be exact, HERE) for this weekend, I'm really hoping the weather is this good! And am I the only one who has first time confusion with posting pictures on here? I wish I could figure out how to post pictures side by side without doing outside of here first. Still getting the hang of Blogspot (Blogger?).

Wishlist with a Sickness

It's actually kind of frustrating to finally get the balls to start a really self indulgent blog while you're sick, because I probably wont be doing much of anything for the next couple of days so I'll have nothing to post about. Luckily, I can still do what every broke chick likes to occupy her time with, online window shopping! Here are a few things I've really been dying to get my hands on (from top to bottom):
Leopard Print High Waisted Denim Shorts, Sometimes it hurts to be an American girl with UK shipping, but after purchasing my first pair of high waisted jeans from Torrid, I'm hooked on the whole idea. A high waist jean can benefit those still getting comfortable with their bodies (holds in the tummy and gives you waist definition), and those who want to show them off.
Black Sheer Heart Tights, The struggle for tights is something everyone deals with at one point (or all the time), and as a plus size girl who isn't fond of brightly colored tights, I really appreciate Yours Clothing offering an ok selection of stylish black and white options.
Beaded Collar Sweater and Scallop Metallic Shorts, It's rare for me that a website will model a complete look that I like, but I'm completely sold on this outfit. Pair it with some black tights(maybe the ones above?) and my glittery oxfords and I'm set!
Sequined Metallic Sweater, I'm sure I'm not the only one with a pink complex out there, but I'm slow starting to really want it back in my wardrobe since like, what, the age of 6? This sweater is more of a peach.. but it totally counts as a step in the general direction.
Fringed Skinny Jean, Ok, I totally saw these on someone and I can't remember who which makes me feel like a bad blogger, but they're so different than anything I've seen, outside of a western wear store at least. These jeans are anything but, however. I can see it now, rockin' them with my velvet booties, a loose sweater top, I'll be the most fashionable girl in Soc 3.

Getting Started

Dress/Belt: H&M, Glasses/Necklace: Thrifted, Bag: Nine West
Participating in Fatshion February on Tumblr this year has really gotten me in the mood of challenging myself to be productive with my outfit choices, as well as posting about myself more often. Which, honestly, I don't feel super comfortable doing on that platform. I mean, I understand that it's my blog and I must have the amount of followers I do for a reason, but I'd much rather reblog crap than clog dashboards with lengthy posts. So I'm starting this blog that will follow me through all of my fashion, cooking(ok eating), DIY, and traveling adventures. I don't expect this to get a lot of traffic, but if you happen to stop by, leave a comment so we can get to know each other!
